This is a beautiful aqua blue rope and rip sugar shaker. These were made in the 1890s. It is about 5.5" tall with the lid on. The lid is metal and has lots of holes so you can sprinkle granular or powdered sugar on your muffins, cakes, coffee, or anything else you may need. These are often confused with large salt shakers. However, these were created specifically for sugar and they are rarely, if ever made today. This one does have two chips on the bottom side of it. However, when it is sitting flat on a surface they are not noticeable. For an item that is so old it is in remarkable condition!
