This listing is for a gorgeous majolica plate. I believe it to be antique but there is no makers mark found but the glaze and kiln marks make me believe it is certainly an old piece. The raised relief plate has a deep green, wide border with a detailed deep brown center band and a flower center with pink shades remaining. The plate measures approximately 9” in diameter. Really handsome display. Condition: Great antique/vintage condition. The only issue found is there is a chip on the underside rim and an extremely small nick on the underside rim. There is also some roughness on the edge-possibly were hung with plate hangers on a wall? None can be seen from the front of the plate. Please see photos.
