EAPG Bryce Higbee Glass Co Sheaf & Diamond (Melrose) Compote circa 1905 PERFECT! This antique compote was made by the Bryce & Higbee Glass company from 1905-1907. The pattern is known as Sheaf & Diamond aka Melrose. It is one of the harder to come by patterns due to it only being in production for a few years, 120+ years ago! It is excellent condition with absolutely no flaws such as chips or cracks. It will glow a yellowish green when uder a UV light due to the manganese used as a clarifyer. This practice was discontinued at least 100 years ago. Measures approximately 6 1/4" inches tall and 8" inches wide at the top.
