This is a set of 6 Early California, brown, lugged handled chowder, soup, or cereal bowls. They are Authentic Vernon Ware pottery made by Vernon Kilns in California, USA. These were made around the 1930 to through 1960 time frame. These bowls have been gently used. They are not chipped or cracked. There are some skips in the glaze and points where the piece was supported during the glaze firing process, but these are not chips, and they are not uncommon, and will not affect use. They measure 6.25 inches in diameter; 7.25 inches wide, including the handles; 2 inches high.
