Handmade studio pottery plate, 11" wide. Rich forest green glaze pools toward the center in an organic wheel-thrown pattern, edged by an unglazed warm brown/tan rim. Reverse is unglazed stoneware with an incised spiral throwing mark plus a separate stylized chop mark; artist/studio unidentified. Condition: Very good, minor surface wear to the glaze in the center consistent with light use. No chips, cracks, or crazing.
