A beautiful and heavy vintage turned marble compote. This exquisite piece is turned from two solid pieces of alabaster marble. Nicely rolled top edge and profile on the base, the bowl is thin enough to be transparent and allow light through! The top measures approximately 11.5 inches in diameter, and the height is 3.5 inches. Regarding condition please see photos, it is nearly perfect but has a tiny chip on the rim that is not very obvious, ive had this for years and completely forgot theres a chip, as seen in the last photo with the ruler it looks to be approximately 1/8" x 1/8".
