This small colander is a hand-thrown artisan piece from John Garrou during his time in Old Fort, North Carolina. The natural clay is cream, with a streaked colored glaze in various complementary shades. There are indented markings of a signature, location and a "handmade" stamp. The bowl does have a crack through the top, as shown in the last pictures. The colander has been tested for use and is still fully functional. It is perfect for washing fresh berries for a Summer snack. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out! 019
