The set has never been used, and is free of utensil marks, scratches, crack, or chips (other than one small chip to the lip of the creamer, see last photo), and some light wear to the gilt on the coffee cup handles. This maker was only in business for a brief time, and they were noted for having some of the finest and most elegant Italian workmanship. This set is actually better quality than the Rosenthal made Versace piece. Each piece is especially heavy, hand-made, and signed by the maker on the underside. This massive set includes 18 dinner plates (10.25" in diameter), 18 shallow salad/soup bowls (8.75"), and 18 bread plates (7.75"), 12 coffee/tea cups, and 12 underplates (78 primary pieces). There is also a large lidded tureen (9.5" tall, 11" diameter), an oval platter (15"), a round chop plate (12"), a teapot, a creamer, a lidded sugar, a serving bowl (10"), and a smaller oval plate (everything in the second photo, 8 unique serving pieces).
